Cable Quick Disconnect

E2P has developed and patented a quick disconnect terminal fitting for a hermetically sealed connector with simultaneous cryogenic and electrical connection. The connector eliminates costly and labor intensive effort to install and replace HTS cables.

The HTS degaussing cable system offers up to an 80% weight savings over non-superconducting options.  With E2P’s patented quick disconnect technology, a similar reduction in installation or replacement cost may be realized.
