Wire Feedthroughs

Wire Feedthroughs are used in pressurized and vacuum conditions to pass electrical signals or power lines through the pressure bulkhead. They are typically rated for leak rate, pressure, and temperature.

Standard properties of our hermetically sealed wire feedthroughs:

• Leak Rate: < 10^-8 std atm cc/s
• High Vacuum Rated: 10^-3 - 10^-9 torr
• Wire to Ground Voltage Standoff: >4 kV

Our state of the art method of sealing wire bundles gives E2P's wire feedthroughs a distinct advantage both in the variety and quantity of wires that can be passed through a single feedthrough. This proprietary method of sealing allows for the wires to be uninterupted (connection/splice-free): giving a more compact seal without the added uncertainty due to contact resistance.

Virtually any gauge or type of wire can be used: including power, voltage, thermocouple, sensors, USB, etc.  Typical flange types include KF/QF/ISO, ConFlat (CF), and NPT/pipe thread; although additonal flange types are available by request.
