Quench Detection and Avoidance

Our state of the art Automated Quench Detection and Avoidance (AQuA) system can protect your superconducting magnet from severe damage resulting from a quench.  Utilizing a high-speed program logic controller and custom LabVIEW software, our system can detect the early signs of a quench and safely discharge your magnet in just milliseconds.  Our proprietary AQuA system has electrical noise rejection ratios (NRR) greater than 1000 and can detect a quench even under AC conditions up to 60Hz.
